Pumpkin Carving

Halloween this year was pretty laid back. We didn't have any trick-or-treaters, but we did decide to decorate the apartment. We carved a few pumpkins. The tall pumpkin was a tribute to the Calvin and Hobbes cartoons that depict Calving making snowmen. The small one is the first cute female pumpkin ever carved!

Initial Entry

So what's the point of starting a blog? It is supposed to keep people up-to-date with the inner workings of our lives. But is it really worth it? I mean...if you know someone, shouldn't they already know what you are doing? Maybe. It seems that my friends and family are fast becoming evenly distributed across the world. If this is indeed true, then maybe this is as good as any forum for keeping people up to date.
